Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant

Our exclusive client, based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a purchase ledger clerk/accounts assistant to join their team. This busy established company is well known in the area and have a very stable and long standing team.

Duties include:

• Scan and process utility invoices ready for payment
• Assist in the processing of non-utility invoices for all companies
• Assist with payment runs
• Bank reconciliations for all companies
• Dealing with queries linked with purchase invoices
• Working daily on Excel
• Support the wider finance team when needed

You must have strong interpersonal skills, have a keen eye for detail, naturally work methodically and have the ability to multitask. The client will consider someone who would like to grow and develop their accounting skills and will pay AAT study support or they will also consider someone who doesn’t want to study and is really doing this type of role.
