Job Description - Purchase Ledger Administrator

Are you looking to work for a large, established business with a long-standing reputation? Heygates, a family-run business with decades of experience in flour milling, is a leading contributor to the UK flour and milling industry. They are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their 15-strong finance team at their picturesque Headquarters on the outskirts of Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire.

Purchase Ledger Administrator duties and responsibilities:

Invoice entry and approval
Setting up new suppliers
Processing BACs payments
Daily control reports
Goods receipt reports
Dealing with both internal & external queries
Liaising with suppliers
Updating of haulage details
Processing of trade account applications
Processing of farmer contracts and claims
General administration duties to support the wider team

The person:

Experienced in Purchase Ledger or a similar role
Takes pride in maintaining accuracy in Purchase Ledger administration
Organised and structured in their approach to work
Enjoys collaborating within a team environment
Confident in using Outlook with knowledge of Excel
