Job Description - Purchase Ledger Clerk

The business
This business has been around for over 30years, with 12 offices across the UK. Based in Liverpool they are looking to hire an accounts assistant for 6-8 weeks with an opportunity to be a permanent position.

Role
Reporting to the finance manager you will be part of a growing finance team.
  • Support the smooth operation of the Finance Department by registering invoices and ensuring timely authorisation and matching for payment.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to meet tight month-end deadlines and provide cover when needed.
  • Matching and processing invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements accurately and efficiently.
  • Month-end routines

Person
  • Experience working in a finance function
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Excel

Benefits
  • Salary up to the equivalent of £28k DOE
  • Flexible working hours
