I am representing an amazing business that operates within the automotive industry. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support their Finance department based in Birmingham, due to their continued growth.

My client are a well established national business, that through continued growth are looking to expand their finance division based in Birmingham with a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team based in Birmingham to take ownership of the accounts payable function. You'll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organisational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced finance environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. You should be confident using accounting software such as Sage, SAP, Xero, or Oracle, and possess solid Excel skills, including functions like VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. The role requires someone who can manage a busy workload, meet deadlines in a high-volume environment, and communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external suppliers.
