Description

Key responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Matching purchase orders and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing payment runs (BACS)
• Handling supplier queries and maintaining good relationships
• Assisting with month-end duties and reporting
• Maintaining and updating the purchase ledger

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team
