Job Description - Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable clerk to join their lovely finance team. This hybrid position has a lot to offer, both in benefits and in the positive work culture in the office. Despite this company having grown exponentially on the market, becoming a very recognisable name on the retail shelves, they still maintain a lovely family run feel and values. In this position you will take on a very important role in the financial operations of the business, being the sole Purchase Ledger Clerk and ensuring all processes on the AP ledger are running smoothly. You will be reporting in the Finance Manager and working amongst a truly supportive team who are eager to welcome you on board. What you will need:

  • Prior experience handling the end to end AP processes is ideal.
  • Whilst not essential it is also advantageous if you have experience working with GRN and overheads.
  • A team oriented mindset and strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies and resolve any queries raised.
  • Have a diligent and proactive approach to work, able to excel in a position where you will have the autonomy to self manage your day to day duties to ensuring the smooth running of AP processes.
