Job Description - Purchase Ledger FTC

A Purchase Ledger Clerk is needed to work at one of our clients in Newbury or Oxford on a Fixed Term Contract for between 7-9months - the way be a opportunity for a permanent role in the future as they are a growing company.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in accounts and administrative work who is looking for a stable employer with good benefits and opportunity to grow in the future.

Purchase Ledger

Salary: Up to £28,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the company's purchase ledger, working with a large busy Accounts Department.
  • Reconciling supplier accounts and processing payments
  • Ensuring documents are processed on time and accurately
  • Liaising with internal management and external customers
  • Assisting with month-end purchase ledger closedown

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in accounts with good computer literacy
  • Previous experience in accounts
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
