Our Client Is Hiring: Purchaser & Stock Controller in Harlow

Join our client's growing team as their new Purchaser & Stock Controller to play a key role in managing inventory across their business and global marketplaces, including Amazon fulfilment centres.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate stock levels within the business.
• Ensure stock availability across all Amazon fulfilment centres (UK, EU, and international) at 100% at all times.
• Monitor, reconcile, and process stock movements between internal systems and external platforms.
• Forecast stock needs and proactively prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Order raw materials, packaging, and other goods required for manufacturing and operations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, working to find the best suppliers possible for quality, service, and cost savings.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible prices, terms, and service levels.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and warehouse teams to align stock levels and order processing with production schedules.
• Liaise with Amazon and other partners to manage fulfilment stock effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions and order processing using inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
• Identify and implement improvements to stock control, ordering, and procurement procedures

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in Purchasing in a manufacturing organisation
• Strong background in stock control or inventory management.
• Strong understanding of stock systems and processes.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Amazon FBA and multi-country fulfilment processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000k plus bonus
