Eaton Syalon are exclusively supporting a engineering business based in Marston to recruit a experience Purchasing Administrator.
The role is in the perfect for location for candidates based in Grantham, Newark-on-Trent and Sleaford.
This is a fantastic role for someone who’s ready to take ownership of purchasing tasks and progress their career in a busy, hands-on setting.
What you’ll be doing:
· Raising and processing purchase orders for raw materials, components and supplies
· Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and best pricing
· Maintaining accurate records on stock levels and purchase history
· Acting as a central point of contact between departments (e.g. production, sales, purchasing)
· Liaising with external suppliers, couriers, or clients regarding orders and deliveries
· Responding to internal and external operational queries promptly
· Supporting the wider team with administrative duties related to procurement and operations
· Using Excel and ERP systems to track spend, run reports, and monitor supplier performance
What we’re looking for:
· Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
· Previous exposure to purchasing, buying or supply chain admin
· Excellent attention to detail and confidence managing data and systems
· Strong Excel skills and the ability to work at pace
· A team player who’s proactive, organised, and keen to learn
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM
