We’re working with a leading engineering company based in Shipley. As the business continues to grow, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join their Purchasing team based in Shipley.
About the Role:
This role plays a vital part in supporting the Sourcing Team with a range of administrative and procurement activities. You'll help drive the department’s efficiency by ensuring smooth and timely processing of day-to-day purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Running ERP system-generated reports
Issuing RFQs in line with MRP requirements
Raising purchase orders (manual and automated)
Liaising with scheduling and expediting teams to align deliveries with production needs
Maintaining positive supplier relationships via email, phone, and occasional in-person meetings
Ensuring supplier performance meets operational expectations
About You:
You’ll ideally bring 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering setting. A working knowledge of supply chain processes is advantageous, and you’ll need to be confident managing data accurately and efficiently.
