Purchasing Advisor

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual with experience in purchasing or procurement? Reed Business Support is delighted to be working with our Ashford-based client, who is looking to welcome a Purchasing Advisor to their growing team.

As a Purchasing Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain stock levels, manage orders, and contribute to the smooth running of the supply chain.

• Raise and manage purchase orders in line with company requirements
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Assist with supplier evaluations and cost analysis
• Support the wider procurement team with administrative and project-based tasks

• Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing systems
