Job Description - Purchasing Assistant

Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Job Type: Full-Time | Office-Based 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 2.30pm finish on Friday
Salary: £27,000

About the Opportunity:

A well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer in Evesham is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their expanding team. This is a newly created position due to continued business growth and increased demand across international markets.

You’ll be joining a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you have experience in administration or shipping/logistics experience and are looking for a role where you can grow and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of purchase orders and supplier invoices.
  • Handle import/export documentation and shipping paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate pricing records and supplier communications.
  • Support the purchasing team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Manage high volumes of email correspondence and phone calls.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an administrative (bonus if its in purchasing, or shipping/logistics role. but this isn't essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to contribute to a growing team.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience using Sage 200 or similar ERP systems.
