Maintain procurement systems, databases and reporting tools, including MRP systems Support supplier management activities and strengthen supplier relationships Assist with tender processes, product range management and new product introduction projects Place and expedite orders to ensure continuity of material supply Monitor inventory levels and help reduce excess or obsolete stock Track supplier performance, stock accuracy and service level KPIs while ensuring compliance with procurement procedures What we’re looking for in a Purchasing Coordinator
Previous experience within a purchasing, procurement or buying environment, ideally within manufacturing Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and data management capability Experience working with ERP or MRP systems, with Sage X3 knowledge advantageous Degree-level education or equivalent qualification preferred CIPS qualification, or currently working towards achieving it Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
