• Collaborate and Align: Work closely with the Operations Manager to synchronize purchasing activities with our overarching business goals.
• Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to guarantee reliability, top-notch quality, and competitive pricing.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a keen eye on market trends and pricing fluctuations to make savvy purchasing decisions.
• Evaluate and Decide: Assess supplier bids and proposals to secure the best pricing and terms.
• Communicate and Coordinate: Partner with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify and address potential risks related to supplier relationships and pricing strategies.
• Leverage Technology: Utilise advanced procurement software and tools to boost efficiency and accuracy in purchasing processes.
• Report and Present: Prepare and deliver insightful reports on purchasing performance, pricing trends, and key metrics to senior management.
