Position: Purchasing Manager
Location: Winchester
Salary: £55 - 65k DOE
Job Type: Monday - Friday, Permanent, Full-time (site based)

Bennett & Game are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a successful Manufacturing business based in Winchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or experienced Senior Buyer to take ownership of purchasing activity, supplier relationships and procurement performance within a growing business.

Purchasing Manager Position Overview:

Manage the end-to-end purchasing and purchase order process
Develop and manage supplier relationships
Negotiate pricing, terms and supply agreements
Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality and delivery
Analyse pricing, lead times and sourcing options
Identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier consolidation
Manage supplier records, contracts and pricing information
Resolve purchasing and supply issues
Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations and Finance teams
Support sourcing decisions and provide accurate cost and lead-time information
Improve purchasing processes and reduce supply riskPurchasing Manager Position Requirements:

Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Buying
Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be advantageous
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
Experience managing purchase orders and supplier performance
Good understanding of ERP or purchasing systems
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Confident communicator with the ability to work independentlyPurchasing Manager Position Package:

£55 - 65k Salary DOE
Monday - Friday (9-5 working hours)
25 days holiday + Banks
