Python Developer - Dundee -
NearTech is working with a prominent media organisation Dundee, and is supporting their search for an additional Python Developer. The firm currently boasts 35+ within their strong and agile development team, fostering a community of diverse talents united by a commitment to inform, entertain, and delight audiences globally with their innovative solutions.

Within the role as a Python Developer for them, you'll be able to:
Collaborate within a cross-functional team to drive the largest digital transformation in the company's history.
Develop and maintain high-quality software applications, mentoring and learning from colleagues.
Influence the refinement of the software development life cycle and engineering practices.
Work across the entire technology stack, using the best tools for the job.
Deliver robust solutions within pragmatic timescales and innovate engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate within a cross-functional team in an Agile environment.
Review problems and design solutions iteratively within Python
Pursue personal development and mentor more junior colleagues.
Influence technical requirements and project priorities.
Participate in innovating engineering practices and creating intuitive software projects.

Nice to haves: The team uses a variety of backend software languages such as PHP, Python, C# as well as others such as SQL and JS. Whilst this is a Python position, knowledge of additional languages is extremely advantageous.
