We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Assistant to join our Technical team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. This role is to ensure quality and food safety compliance are adhered to throughout the factory. Working hours: 4 days on 4 days off with shifts anticipated to be 12 hours Pay: £29092.44 Main Responsibilities Conduct regular checks on all lines to assure product quality, legality, and compliance to standards and procedures. Conduct regular check to assure process control documentation is completed accurately. Pro-actively monitor safety, legality and quality issues relating to raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods. To drive continuous improvement in product quality and food safety culture. Conduct and/or ensure all routine checks including, equipment calibrations, micro sampling, traceability tests etc are carried out correctly and on time. To manage internal taste panel and shelf-life sample assessments. Assist in the management and completion of internal audits including CCP, GMP, fabrication, hygiene, plastic, and system audits. Skills and Experience Required Relevant certification - HACCP Level 3 Basic Food Hygiene Attention to detail and able to prioritise workload.
