QA Factory Inspector

A great opportunity has arisen for a "hands-on" Quality Control Inspector with excellent attention to detail to work within a long established manufacturing company in Medway Towns on a permanent basis. You will be from a manufacturing background and ideally have some previous QC experience.

Working Monday-Thursday 06.00-16.30 and Friday 06.00-14.30, you will be assisting with the inspection of the initial molds made in the department directly reporting to the Team Leader.

Your main duties will include:

• Checking and signing "first off" parts for operators so that production can commence.
• Inspecting engineering patterns to verify accuracy to drawing and techniques.
• Trimming the moldings from the manufacturing process.
• Patching or repairing moldings that the team leader deems economical to repair.
• Delivering trays of completed work to the assembly department to work on.
• Checking that previous operations have been accurately booked on the job cards and the system has been updated.
• Completing job cards and recording the data on to the system.

The rate of pay is £12.36 per hour, 48 hours per week.
