QA Team Leader

QA Team Leader - Fixed-Term Maternity Cover - Manufacturing - Haverhill, Suffolk

Are you an experienced Quality professional with previous team leadership experience looking for a new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a QA Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing business in Haverhill on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll supervise a team of 6-7 OQC team members, coordinating daily workloads and ensuring resources, documentation and equipment are available to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of 6-7 OQC team members
Plan and allocate daily workloads and resources
Monitor and report team output and performance
Review and report product inventory and WIP status
Support OQC and IQC activities where required
Pack and label products ready for shipment
Print job/works orders and production documentation
Ensure quality processes are followed in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards
Work closely with other departments to support customer requirements
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience within a Quality Control or manufacturing environment
Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively
A strong team player who can also work independently
Proactive, reliable and able to use initiativeWhat's on Offer

Salary of £32,000+ (DOE)
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
