Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're working with a well-established engineering business based in Stonehouse, seeking a proactive and experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance across critical manufacturing projects.

This is a key role for a quality professional who understands Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), can manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and has a proven ability to lead or enhance Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) systems.

• Develop, manage, and monitor ITPs for live and upcoming projects
• Drive APQP activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement across manufacturing and engineering processes
• Own and improve the NCR process; support process development and CAPA initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with internal and external quality standards (including ISO9001:2015)
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues and resolutions
• Lead internal audits and contribute to external audit readiness
• Support the development of training and awareness programs around Quality Management
• Provide quality insight during project reviews and gate-stage processes

• Graduate-level education in Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Solid understanding and practical experience of APQP and ITP development
• Experience managing NCR systems and root cause analysis
• Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 QMS and internal auditing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable
• Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection tools (e.g. micrometers, calipers)
