Records Technician

As a Records Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the management and control of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) across the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Compiling, reviewing and submitting LTQR deliverables to ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
- Managing the distribution and control of both electronic and hard-copy documents, maintaining full configuration control throughout their lifecycle.
- Producing data reports and document status updates to support project reporting requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation and compilation of LTQR handover packs.
- Supporting LTQR Coordinators to ensure all required quality records are submitted and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
- Reviewing quality records for completeness, accuracy and compliance to support the creation of lifetime records and End of Erection Status Reports.
- Ensuring all document management activities are undertaken in accordance with approved procedures and processes
Qualifications:
- Discipline-specific qualification preferred.
- Strong IT proficiency with experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Understanding of document control principles and configuration management processes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance.
Experience:
- Experience working with EDMS automation systems and managing controlled records.
- Previous experience within major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with quality documentation, technical records or lifetime quality records.
- Experience within the nuclear industry would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working in collaborative alliance or joint venture environments is beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
