QHSE Manager

Job Summary

We are now recruiting for a QHSE Manager to join an established business based in the Dudley area. The QHSE Manager will be responsible for health, safety and environmental matters across the sites developing, implementing and overseeing policies to ensure that regulations and standards are met. Your will be responsible for developing and implementing QHSE policies and leading a team of Quality control engineers whilst working closely with production teams to maintain high quality.

As the QHSE Manager you will be responsible for :

* Develop and implement Quality control policies, procedures and standards

* Provide hands on leadership on health, safety and environmental issues

* Manage and train Quality control staff ensuring that protocol standards are met

* Carry out regular inspections and audits of products and processes

* Work closely with production, engineering, and management to resolve any Quality issues

* Carry out regular risk assessments and audits

* Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics and incidents

* Communicate QHSE policies to employees, contractors and stakeholders

* Ensure any accidents, incidents are reported, recorded and investigated

* Daily reporting on QHSE KPIs across sites keeping managers up to date on performance and any issues

* Main point of contact for any QHSE related matters liaising with clients, regulators and auditors

Requirements:

* Proven experience in Quality, Health, Safety and environmental management ideally within heavy manufacturing environments

* Experienced in leading organisations towards ISO Certifications and also maintaining existing certifications

* Experience of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

* Able to connect through all levels of the business

* NEBOSH or IOSH certification

* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
