Hours: Day shift (44 hours per week)

Salary: £50k +

Ready to take the lead in a business where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything? We're looking for a proactive and influential QHSE Manager to drive quality excellence, champion health, safety and environmental standards and support the ongoing growth of our client's foundry operation.

This is a strategic leadership role where you'll work across all levels of the business, leading quality initiatives, driving process improvements, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll play a key role in shaping a culture that is customer-focused, safety-driven, and committed to operational excellence.

What you'll be doing…

Leading the company's Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental strategy.
Driving continuous improvement across foundry processes and quality systems.
Managing audits, risk assessments, compliance, and corrective actions.
Leading and developing the quality team to deliver outstanding results.
Reducing defects through root cause analysis, FMEA, data analysis, and process control.
Working closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to improve performance.
Ensuring compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Promoting a strong safety culture through training, engagement, and best practice.
Acting as the key point of contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.What we are looking for…

Strong foundry experience, ideally within high-integrity ductile iron production.
Excellent knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental systems.
Proven ability to influence change and drive measurable improvements.
Experience leading quality teams and cross-functional projects.
Skilled in root cause analysis, audits, process improvement, and quality tools.
A confident communicator who can engage with colleagues at every level.
