QHSE Manager

An established marine engineering business is looking to recruit an experienced HSEQ Manager

This is a varied role with responsibility for maintaining and developing the company's integrated management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant ISO standards and supporting HSEQ requirements across engineering and marine projects.

The role

* Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System

* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

* Manage and maintain HSEQ documentation and records

* Coordinate and supervise the internal audit programme

* Monitor compliance with company procedures

* Review non-conformances and oversee corrective actions

* Support safety meetings, inspections and investigations

* Provide HSEQ support across engineering projects

* Promote continuous improvement and a positive HSEQ culture

* Provide HSEQ support at other project locations when required

The person

* NEBOSH qualification

* Qualified Internal Auditor or above

* Practical experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

* Previous HSEQ/QHSE experience within engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, marine or a similar industrial environment

* Good understanding of engineering and fabrication activities

* Strong knowledge of management systems, auditing and compliance

* Confident communication and organisational skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Right to work in the UK

* £55,000–£60,000
