QS / Estimator

Yourconstruction are delighted to be recruiting for a QS to join a successful heating company in the North

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects

· Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis

· Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget

· Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities

· Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors

· Evaluate and manage project risks related to cost control

· Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management

Experience:

· Bachelor 39;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

· Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs

· Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Effective communication and negotiation skills
