Job Description - QSHE Specialist

QSHE Specialist

Northamptonshire

£28,000 - £32,000 DOE

Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm

Are you passionate about Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE)? Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where compliance and continuous improvement are key? If so, our client in Northamptonshire will want to hear from you!

Key Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QSHE policies and procedures across the business.
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify risks, conduct risk assessments, and drive corrective actions for continual improvement.
  • Monitor, track, and analyse QSHE data to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Train and support teams in health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Investigate non-conformances, safety incidents, and customer complaints, ensuring effective root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Maintain supplier and customer compliance through tracking systems (e.g., Entropy).
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and risk management.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • NEBOSH, DSEAR, ATEX, or relevant ISO training/auditing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of management systems, risk assessment tools, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in quality assurance/control and health & safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Sharp analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset (5-Why, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills to drive QSHE initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with teams.
  • GMP knowledge and 5S workplace organization experience (preferred).
