QTS - Home Tuition Worcester

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced teacher looking to step away from the traditional classroom environment and provide more personalised and enjoyable learning experiences.

Many of these pupils may have been out of education for a significant period, and confidence levels can be low. Your role will be to re-engage them with learning, rebuild their confidence, and help establish structure and routine within their daily lives.

Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor each pupil's progress and support effective learning outcomes.

Contract / Position Details

Location: Within the community or pupil's home in Worcester

Position: 1:1 QTS Home Tutor

Type of work: Contract

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement

End date (if applicable): Ongoing

Contract type: Temporary

Full-time / part-time: Part time (15 hours per week, per student)

Minimum rate of pay: £22+ per hour

Hours: Working hours may vary depending on the convenient timings of the family

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 QTS Home Tutor

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

Previous UK classroom teaching experience

Creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box

Experience working with SEND pupils or learners who have become disengaged from education

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 QTS Home Tutor must:

Hold the right to work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
