They are seeking a Qualified Accountant to oversee financial records for a diverse client portfolio while managing the daily operations of the practice team.

? Conduct client meetings both virtually and in person.
? Provide expert tax advice and prepare annual accounts.
? Review and approve work completed by the accounting team.
? Handle self-assessment tax returns, HMRC audits, and investigations.
? Address client concerns and manage complex issues efficiently.
? Monitor and analyse KPI-related data, attending management meetings as needed.
? Represent the firm with professionalism, upholding high standards of service.
? Commit to continuous professional development.
? Mentor and support staff, fostering future growth within the firm.

?? ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
?? Strong proficiency in cloud accounting software (FreeAgent, QuickBooks, Xero).
?? Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team.
?? Solid knowledge of accounting and taxation, including income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and PAYE.
?? Excellent problem-solving skills, with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
?? Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior management.
?? Exceptional time management and ability to meet deadlines.

? Knowledge of capital gains and inheritance tax.
? Experience handling HMRC audits and investigations.
? Background in performance management.
