Location: Worksop (office based) | Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, 5 days | Contract: Full-time, permanent | Reports to: Practice Owner | Salary: £45,000
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across the industrial, transport and farming sectors
* Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returns
* Giving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax matters
* Preparing statutory and management accounts to a high standard
* Building strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetings
* Getting hands-on with TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Word and Excel
* Liaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clients
* Staying sharp on the latest tax legislation, accounting standards and best practice
* Working as part of a team — no formal line management required
What We're Looking For
* A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent) with solid practice experience
* Confident managing your own client portfolio from start to finish
* Strong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax
* A natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contact
* Comfortable working across modern accounting software
* A team player who's happy to share knowledge and support colleagues
