Qualified Accountant - Christchurch - up to £70,000

Qualified Accountant required to support a great FD, you will lead a small finance team and oversee all aspects of general accounting. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing strong controls, and ensuring timely, compliant reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Oversee fixed asset management, tax returns, and accounts payable/receivable
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Support audits, budgeting, and process improvements
• Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience
• Proven leadership skills in managing accounting teams
• Experience in manufacturing is essential
• Experience of cost accounting preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
