About the Company

Our client is a well-established, family-run electrical and mechanical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, testing and compliance services across the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

The Role

This is a varied position involving electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding works across a wide range of environments, including: - domestic properties, schools, care homes, commercial premises, plant rooms etc.

Covering Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works.
Undertake inspection, testing and fault-finding of electrical systems.
Complete EICRs and associated remedial works.
Read and interpret construction and electrical drawings.
Install galvanised and PVC containment systems.
Work on lighting, power, distribution and control systems.

What We Are Looking For

City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Desired - City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
Strong testing, inspection and fault-finding experience
Ability to read and work from technical and construction drawings
Desired - experience working on boiler control systems and control panels
Full UK Driving Licence

What's on Offer

£35,000 - £40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
7:30am - 4:00pm (40-hour week, with flexibility required)
