Qualified Electrician / Maintenance Engineer – Fixed Wiring Testing

PRS Recruitment Agency is currently seeking an experienced Qualified Electrician / Maintenance Engineer  - Fixed Wiring Testing to work with some of our most prestigious commercial clients in London

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within commercial buildings.
Undertake fixed wiring inspection and testing in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
Complete electrical fault-finding, testing and diagnostic work.
Carry out minor electrical installations, repairs and improvements.
Identify defects and provide accurate reports and recommendations.
Work safely within live and operational commercial environments.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety requirements and company procedures.
Accurately record completed works using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams.Requirements

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing – ESSENTIAL.
Proven experience carrying out Fixed Wiring Inspection & Testing.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations – ESSENTIAL.
Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Good knowledge of health & safety and electrical compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
