KS1 Teacher - Good School:

Wayman Education is working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Lewisham seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS1 teacher is required from January 2025. This fantastic primary school is searching for a good KS1 teacher who has the skills and drive to lead.

This is a significant position within the school, and the successful applicant will join the school's extended leadership team. Strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving KS1 class beginning in January, are required for this position.

Only exceptional, experienced KS1 teachers will be interviewed for this permanent full-time position.

The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment, as a result we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a KS1 teacher:

• As a KS1 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.


• Teaching the KS1 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  
  


• Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.


• Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
