Our client, a PE backed business based in Central London, is currently looking to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The company is entering a period of significant growth and as a result are looking for someone ambitious who wants to be part of that journey.

The client is looking for someone qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 1-2 years post qualified experience. They want someone ambitious and innovative who can come in and provide commercial analysis of the business. The role reports into a dynamic Financial Controller who is looking for someone with the same drive to help propel the company forward. The company is PE backed and in a period of rapid growth so it is a very exciting time to join the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working for a multi-site business - hospitality or retail ideally - and dealing with complex management accounts. The successful applicant will be analytical, commercial and able to make suggestions of ways to improve processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of the financial reporting.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Deliver accurate and timely management accounts including preparing and managing monthly P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide insight into costs and explain performance variances
• Participate in all aspects of the month-end process
• Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register
• Support the year-end audit, working directly with external auditors and being the main point of contact for queries
• Be involved in system improvements and process streamlining

Hours are 9.00 - 18.00 and they will support hybrid working.
