About the Role:

On behalf of our esteemed client, an outstanding secondary school located in Islington, we are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their dedicated team starting this September. This full-time, permanent position presents a unique chance to inspire and cultivate a love for music in students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and innovative music lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's specific music program.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and individual expression.


• Actively contribute to the school's vibrant music culture through participation in concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Music department and across the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching music at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of current pedagogical approaches and music education best practices.
