SEN Science Teacher (QTS) - September Start

Location: Windsor
Salary: From £38,000+ (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent

Veritas Education are working with a well-supported SEN school in Windsor to recruit a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent role starting in September.

The role

You will be teaching Science to students with a range of special educational needs. The school is looking for someone who can adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and create a supportive, structured classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated Science lessons for KS3-KS4
Adapt teaching to meet individual student needs
Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP outcomes
Work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
KS3 -KS4 curriculum experience
Experience working with SEN pupils
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, flexible and committed approach
