We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Cared for Children Team in Middlesbrough. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Position: Social Worker

Shift: Full-Time

Salary: £40,476 - £42,708 (Higher salary based on experience: £46,547 - £49,114)

Location: Middlesbrough

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals.
• Advocate for the needs of children.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications:

• Applicants should possess a relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree) and be registered with the HCPC.
• Experience in safeguarding is essential, and experience working with specific vulnerable groups would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills are required.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
