Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for your next locum role in Oxfordshire?

3D Recruit is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to support children and families within local authority Children's Services. This temporary opportunity offers £36–£38 per hour and an ASAP start.

The Role

You will provide child-focused social work, working with families and partner agencies to assess needs, address safeguarding concerns and improve outcomes. Specific duties will depend on the allocated team and caseload.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assessing the needs of children and families and identifying protective factors and risks

*

Managing complex cases using sound professional judgement

*

Undertaking direct work with children and young people to understand their experiences

*

Developing and reviewing plans that prioritise children's safety, stability and wellbeing

*

Supporting parents and carers to understand concerns and work towards agreed changes

*

Coordinating with education, health and other agencies to deliver joined-up support

*

Contributing to safeguarding meetings and statutory reviews, as required

*

Preparing accurate assessments, reports and case records within required timescales

*

Delivering statutory responsibilities in line with children's social care legislation and local procedures

What We're Looking For

*

Social Work degree or equivalent qualification

*

Current Social Work England (SWE) registration

*

Minimum 2 years' post-qualifying experience

*

Strong knowledge of UK children's social care legislation and practice

*

Experience managing complex children's social care cases

*

Right to work in the UK
