Job Description - Quality & Performance Coach

Job Title: Quality & Performance Coach
Location: Newcastle, UK (Office-based)
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Quality & Performance Coach to join a leading client in the healthcare sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in call centre operations, coaching, and quality improvement who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-led environment.

As a Quality & Performance Coach, you will work closely with pathway leaders to enhance team performance, improve patient experience, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll play a key role in embedding best practices, supporting change initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and support front-line teams to meet performance and quality targets
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient communication and satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics across pathways
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement new processes and drive operational excellence
  • Support teams through change, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role
  • Proven ability to coach and develop teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence to lead through change and inspire high performance
  • Knowledge of CQC standards (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Desirable:

  • Experience in a quality or performance improvement role
  • Background in leading teams through operational change
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and assurance frameworks
