Quality Assurance Assistant

Are you detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about maintaining exceptional product quality? My client is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to join their team based in Leeming Bar.

In this role, you’ll provide technical support and expert guidance across all departments, helping to ensure the site remains continuously audit-ready. Key responsibilities include coordinating, conducting, and reporting on internal audits such as Hygiene, GMP, and Glass & Hard Plastic inspections, all in line with the audit schedule. You'll also be responsible for verifying CCPs, leading taste panels to identify non-conforming products, and performing environmental swabbing and water sampling in accordance with the Environmental Monitoring Schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to identify any deviations from quality standards.
• Analyse data related to product quality and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including inspection results and compliance reports.
• Support training initiatives for staff on quality assurance practices and HACCP principles.
• Participate in the development and revision of quality assurance policies and procedures.
