Quality Assurance Assistant

The purpose of this role is to ensure the highest level of technical compliance is adhered to, across the business, through factory processes and due diligence procedures, as demanded by the Company.

THE ROLE:
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Quality checks on processed meat and packaging
Maintain and update accurate product and raw material technical specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Assist with maintaining the quality management system and regulatory bodies.
Support site audits
Complete internal training in procedures for food safety, hygiene, and compliance.

THE CANDIDATE:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a meat processing, or food manufacturing environment
Working within quality, technical, or production management systems.
Ability to work autonomously, without direct supervision.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
