Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead – Pensions Administration
Location: Wiltshire (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £52,000 p.a

Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join the Wiltshire Pension Fund team. This is a pivotal role ensuring the Fund’s administration processes are compliant, effective, and aligned with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of a robust Quality Assurance strategy for pensions administration.
• Conduct audits, testing, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to LGPS regulations and internal standards.
• Act as the technical expert, providing guidance and training across the administration team.
• Interpret legislative changes and update procedures accordingly.
• Ensure processes align with The Pensions Regulator’s requirements and maintain readiness for internal/external audits.
• Maintain a centralised procedures database and lead on quality control reporting to key governance groups.

About You:

• CIPP/PMI qualified or equivalent with in-depth LGPS experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of pension schemes and related legislation.
• Proven experience in QA or compliance within pensions administration.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex regulatory matters clearly.
• Skilled in managing change, leading process improvements, and training teams.
• Previous experience within local government
