Location: Sevenoaks (Hybrid: Office Monday–Thursday, Work from Home Fridays)

Salary: Up to £50,000, depending on experience

This is a rare opportunity for a driven and detail-focused
Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of technical standards, sustainability, and ethical sourcing—all within a flexible, supportive team environment.
Make your mark in a role that matters You’ll lead on all technical and compliance matters, including
BRCGS and MSC audits,
HACCP/VACCP/TACCP systems,
supplier approval, and
internal audits. You’ll ensure that both customer and legal standards are not just met but exceeded.
Sitting at the heart of the operation, this role also carries responsibility for sustainability—including
ethical sourcing,
SEDEX platform management, and
continuous improvement projects. With influence across departments, it’s a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with real autonomy and impact.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Food and Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience in the food industry, ideally within quality or technical roles
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)—particularly BRCGS or GFSI (agents and brokers experience advantageous but not essential)
- In-depth understanding of food safety, legality, and HACCP principles
- Experience with product specification completion
- Familiarity with customer platforms, such as Quadex or similar
- Ideally, some auditing experience (internal or external)

- Hybrid working – based in the Sevenoaks office Monday to Thursday, with Fridays working from home
