Quality Assurance Manager

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in the pharmaceuticals industry? My Loughborough based client is currently seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Loughborough on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality management system. Your expertise will ensure that products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. You will lead quality assurance initiatives, develop and implement quality policies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Lead the investigation and analysis of product defects, customer complaints, and non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution.
Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures, promoting awareness of quality standards across the organisation.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practises in quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Quality Management).
Proven experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceuticals or medical device industry.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO 13485).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
