We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our team and support our commitment to continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and outstanding care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance within health and social care who is passionate about improving service quality and supporting operational teams to achieve excellence. The Role As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will work closely with Registered Managers and senior leadership to ensure our services consistently meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. You will carry out audits, identify areas for improvement, support action plans, and help prepare services for inspections, ensuring positive outcomes for both the organisation and the people we support. Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive quality assurance audits across services. * Produce detailed audit reports with clear recommendations and action plans. * Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, legislation, and company policies. * Support Registered Managers to improve quality and maintain compliance. * Analyse trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. * Assist services in preparing for regulatory inspections. * Monitor the completion of quality improvement actions. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and best practice. * Support investigations, governance processes, and quality improvement initiatives where required. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: * Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Compliance, Governance, Audit, or Quality Improvement role within health or social care. * Good knowledge of one or more regulatory frameworks, including CQC, CIW, HIW and/or OFSTED. * Experience conducting audits and producing high-quality reports. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * The confidence to support and challenge operational teams using evidence-based recommendations. * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Desirable * Experience supporting services through regulatory inspections. * Experience working across multiple services or locations. * Knowledge of governance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement. * Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (desirable).
