MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer on behalf of a contractor delivering social housing maintenance services. This is a permanent position based in Stratford, offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Working closely with planners, supervisors, operatives, subcontractors and client teams, you'll support the delivery of high-quality, compliant and commercially robust reactive maintenance services. You'll play a key role in quality assurance, commercial validation, compliance monitoring and performance management, ensuring repairs are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
Carry out desktop quality assurance checks across reactive maintenance work orders. Review completed repairs to ensure quality standards and contractual requirements have been met. Validate Schedule of Rates (SOR/NHF) claims, variations and commercial submissions. Monitor compliance with health and safety requirements, including asbestos-related processes. Support the auditing of repairs, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action. Produce performance reports and analyse operational data to support service improvements. Work closely with operational teams to improve accuracy, efficiency and customer outcomes. Ensure job records, documentation and system information are maintained accurately. Support contract compliance and ensure services are delivered in line with client expectations. Assist with the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and controls.Requirements:
Experience working within social housing, property maintenance or reactive repairs. Strong understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance operations. Experience working with Schedule of Rates (SOR/NHF). Knowledge of validating variations and commercial claims. Understanding of asbestos processes, compliance requirements and health and safety legislation. Experience carrying out quality assurance checks, auditing or post-inspections. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify trends. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and repairs management systems. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
