We are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our Quality Department.  We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is willing to learn a new profession and grow into valued member of our team. 

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Conduct in the goods receiving, in-process & final product inspection of fire alarm control panels and associated equipment.


• Inspect and test panels, electronic components and systems for quality and functionality as part of RMA process.

• Identify and troubleshoot system defects and failures.

• Conduct in basic testing of our product range and equipment.


• Preparing RMA reports and creating system records.

• Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.


• Collaborate with QA teams to implement quality control processes.


• Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement strategies.


• Keep up-to-date records of testing and inspection results.

• Perform in the investigation and rework of product and assembly failures.


• Input of inspection data into our computer system and reporting inspection results.


• Support in problem solving and reporting activities.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSON SPECIFICATION

• High level soldering skills


• Electronic knowledge


• Ability to read circuit diagram


• Computer literacy


• Good communication skill


• Willingness to learn.


• Previous experience of working in an electronic manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

KEY LIAISONS:

Quality Control, Quality Engineering, Production, Production Engineering, Materials Control and Purchasing.

OTHER TASKS:

• Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00, Friday: 08:30-16:00
