A growing technology consultancy requires the services of a Quality Assurance/Test Analyst. The position is based in London and will require travel for client consultations. This is an ideal role for someone looking to get exposure into very large scale system quality assurance and implementation. The candidate will need to have strong knowledge and experience of HP Test Director and Test Foundation Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall testing in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems. The candidate will also need to have excellent communication and client facing skills. 

Duties

• Evaluate and test new and modified software programs
  
• Verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines: Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• Leadership and senior management team exposure
• A strong customer service background with evidenced service improvement focus and good communication skills

• Graduate or Post Graduate in IT, numerate or analytical discipline
• Minimum 5 year experience in relevant QA Testing technologies 
• Experience with HP Test Director and Test Foundation Server
• At least 2 year experience in financial services sector
• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
• Liaison with development, project management, and customer support

Salary Range - £30,000 to £34,000 per annum
