Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 16:30 & Friday 8:30 - 13:30
Basis: Permanent

Our well established client within the electronics industry are looking for a Quality Control and Assurance Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a Quality Control and Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring quality through detailed inspection, testing and collaboration with relevant departments. The ideal candidate will have experience within the quality discipline and in the electronics industry, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring excellence.

Key Responsibilities as a Quality Control and Assurance Inspector:

• Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Use measuring equipment such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges to carry out detailed inspections.
• Detect and report defects or non-conformities to the appropriate departments for resolution.
• Document and maintain detailed records of inspections and test outcomes.
• Resolve quality issues by collaborating with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain ongoing quality control by conducting regular audits and checks of the production line.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all quality control processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and PCB/Silk Screen layout.

Qualifications and experience required:

• IPC IPC610 trained
• Awareness of BSI requirements for ISO 9001: 2015.
• Experience within the Quality discipline and in the electronics industry.
