Quality Control Inspector

Temporary - Approximately 3 Months
£14.50 - £15.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming components and materials against drawings, specifications and purchase orders.
Carry out visual and measurement-based inspections, including use of measurement equipment.
Identify and record non-conforming products and support corrective actions.
Maintain accurate quality records and assist with supplier quality issues.
Work closely with Quality, Production, Purchasing and Engineering teams.
Maintain a clean, organised working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Knowledge of measurement techniques/metrology; CMM experience is desirable.
Understanding of ISO 9001, Lean or Six Sigma principles.
Good IT skills, particularly Word and Excel; SAP experience advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
Able to work independently and effectively as part of a wider team.Level 4 Quality Practitioner, NPL Metrology training or equivalent experience would be highly desirable.
